I can't get ImageMagick to generate thumbnails. After a timeout 60 seconds or so , I get a grey box with the following error:. Something that would at least get me on the right path: is the root cause of the above error message "no decode delegate" or "no data returned"? Versions: MediaWiki 1. This post was posted by Dan-smith , but signed as Smith. I'm able to reproduce the error from the command line, though I'm still trying to understand it.
Here's the invocation coming from MediaWiki:. If I replace the "-set comment It appears the thumbnail command is being interpreted as a request to load an image from the given URL. Is this just a bug? Why is nobody else experiencing this? Hence, the free-form comment text wasn't escaped properly.
I have the same problem, but convert is a real binary and installed through standard apt-get on ubuntu. Issue resolved. The image directory wasn't mounted up. Edited by Flow talk page manager , 13 June 8 years ago.
